The Chamber contracts with
Texas State University and their Small Business Development Center to
offer new and start-up business assistance to entrepreneurs wishing to
establish their businesses in Buda.
Located 15 minutes south of
Austin just west of Interstate 35, Buda currently offers competitively
priced office space, warehouse/manufacturing space and available land
suited to industrial and commercial development combined with a rural
atmosphere and the small town charm of an historic Texas town.
 The
convenient geographic location combined with slower paced lifestyle
invites companies to develop and expand their businesses where there is an
available workforce and a community eager to serve their needs. The
Buda area also offers available housing for most income levels.
The Buda Area Chamber of
Commerce, the City of Buda, and the Buda Economic
Development Corporation are working to recruit and retain businesses
both new and old in the community.
The Chamber takes the lead in
promoting tourism for our city.
The City of Buda and the Economic
Development Corporation work to attract industrial and commercial
development for our open land areas.
The I-35 corridor from the
northern Hays County line to mile marker 217 offers great potential for
retail development while other open areas in Buda offer opportunities for
residential and commercial development.
