New Air Travel Security Guidelines
Some of our members may be fielding calls
and questions about the new air travel
security guidelines that went into effect
yesterday. The Department of Homeland
Security has prepared a one-page fact sheet

CASA Training
Are you interested in changing a child’s
life? Have you been looking for a way to reach out to
others? CASA of Central Texas
is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that serves
children in Hays, Comal, Guadalupe, and Caldwell counties.
CASA volunteers are Court Appointed
Special Advocates for children- trained community
volunteers appointed by a District Judge to advocate for
children who have been removed from their home because of
sever neglect or abuse. Please help us in our mission to
provide a volunteer for every abused child in the counties
we serve. Details for our upcoming volunteer training class
are:
Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age
and have no felony convictions. Please contact Erin Taylor,
LMSW at (512) 392-3578 for more information or to receive a
volunteer application. Our office is open 8:30am - 5:00pm,
