Your Chamber website is the catalyst for commerce for the Buda, Texas area businesses. Each member receives a webpage on the Chamber’s website. All you have to do is send us your info and we will include a link to your own website. Networking Opportunities

Monthly membership functions provide forums for making business contacts. These include membership luncheons that are held on the second Wednesday of each month and “Business after Hours” functions. These events offer the membership a great way to make new contacts, meet other professionals, and become involved in community activities.
 

Referrals from the Chamber

Members’ names and phone numbers are distributed each year to thousands of people inquiring about goods, services, shopping, and visiting opportunities via our annually and Membership Directory, mailouts, phone calls and walk-ins to the Chamber office.
 

Ribbon Cuttings

New members are encouraged to schedule a ribbon cutting ceremony. These events are publicized in the Chamber’s e-newsletter, promoted on Facebook, and on the BACC website. Ribbon cuttings are available to new members, businesses that expand, relocate, or come under new ownership.
 

Hays Business Expo and the Annual Awards Banquet

Members may participate in the highly successful North Hays County Business Expo held at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center in Kyle each October. This is a fun and profitable way to market your business and add new contacts. The Annual Awards Banquet, held in February, not only recognizes businesses and individuals who have excelled during the past year, but also offers businesses the opportunity to become a sponsor. A sponsorship in this event includes pre-event publicity, advertising in the event program, and prominent mention with company log on the continual-loop PowerPoint.
 

Brochures Displayed

Members may display flyers or brochures and business cards at the Chamber office.

Over the past few years, most of us have heard about all the money being made on the Internet. This new medium of education and entertainment has revolutionized the economy and brought many people and many companies a great deal of success. Websites make money, but one of the main sources of revenue is advertising. One of the most popular forms of Internet advertising is the banner ad.
 

Business Resources

Free one-on-one, personalized business planning sessions take place monthly with trained business counselors from the Texas State University Small Business Development Center for existing and start-up businesses. This service provides guidance and options on marketing, finance, international trade, or any aspect of establishing and updating a business plan. Membership Directory

All members are listed in the Chamber’s Membership Directory, used as an informational piece of the area, and a guide of recommended businesses to newcomers, residents, and local and out-of-town businesses.
 

Community Involvement

Assists other local clubs and organizations in the promotion of their events and activities by disseminating information, answering questions or mailing additional data.
 

Economic and Demographic Information

The Chamber serves as a reference point for members when they seek the latest statistical and demographic information for business planning purposes.
